Why We Like The Flylow Baker Bib Pant

With a fully kitted, bomber build, the Flylow Baker Bib Pant is a favorite amongst powderhounds and season stretchers. The 3-layer, seam-sealed construction keeps us dry through winter's worst, while the dual thigh vents let those cool breezes blow through on steep bootpacks and balmy spring sessions. From resort runs to backcountry lines, the articulated knees, stretch back panel, and relaxed fit give us full carve freedom, with Cordura reinforcements preventing premature fraying and tearing along the way.

I really wanted to like these bibs. I'm 6' and 180 and tried a M and a L. The medium inseam was too small and waist was slightly too small (I'm a 33) and the Large overall was too big. If they fit you well, it's a great option.

Solid Bib!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Have not skied in it yet, I am 5'10 and about 188 lbs - thicker thighs and butt. Saw a lot of reviews with varying opinions about the sizing and how the Flylow Baker Bit fit, so wanted to share mine as well. The regular Large fits me perfectly length wise and width wise in all areas. Adjustable velcro straps around the waste allow to increase or decrease how roomy you want the fit. Bottoms look boot cut/bell bottom cut right out of the box but fit around my boots appropriately. There are two different buttons at the bottom of the pant to increase or decrease the width of the pant leg, and i have it hooked on the smaller width button with Lange 120x boots. Love all of the pockets, straps, features etc.. Everything is as advertised. Cant wait to automatically be the best skier on the mountain thanks to Flylow!

Work Great in all kinds of weather

I have worn these on two different snowboard trips in VT. First time was frigid -7 and windy. The second time was like spring skiing - 45 and rainy ( both in February - welcome to NE). I really liked them. Pockets and vents in all the right places. I like the long zipper to get out at the end of the day. Found the straps adjustable and they held in place - unlike my Filson overalls. I am 5'9 174 lbs and wear 32 x 32 pants and got a medium. I did wear a belt with them as they needed to be a little tighter around my waste, but liked the fit overall. Based on the trips noted above - they are waterproof and very wind resistant. They ain't cheap but they were worth it.

Not worth the money

They are great but honestly, they aren't worth the money. Talking to the backcountry gear guy, he suggested I get the Large which I did but after wearing it a couple of times I wish I got the Medium. I was wishing I didn't have to have so many layers buying these but I wear the exact same as I did before which is a bust. I would save my money and go with something cheeper as it does the same job.
