Super solid pack, I’m taking it to Nepal
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I’m heading out on a worldly trip soon, I choose this as my day pack for the next year. I’ve used it around town the last month, which is why I’m not giving it 5-stars yet. Still need to put this through the wringer. So far… Quality: seems quite bomber. Materials are great. Organization: pretty good for a minimalist pack. I like that I can separate clothes/things between two main compartments. Pockets are functional. My 13” MacBook fits in the hydration pouch, but it’s tight. I’m gonna order their waterproof laptop case soon, hopefully it still fits. Not the worst problem if it doesn’t, but I think it’ll be better for organization if it does. Side pockets hold a Nalgene and large HydroFlask. Weight: pretty damn light! Not as light as my outdoor research summit pack LT, but this is a bit more versatile and usable for everyday life. It’s a fine trade off, and the OR pack is exceptionally light. Comfort: seems fine around town. I think the wire frame helps compared to no frame. But I need to put more miles on this thing.
