Voodoo NTN Telemark Ski Boot
The Voodoo NTN Telemark Ski boot brings control and precision all over the mountain by pairing a burly 130 flex with powerful high overlap construction. This combination will let you put as much power into the edge of your ski as you want without powering through the front and ending up with your nose resting on your ski. It has a 13-degree lean angle and an asymmetrical bellows design for the proper flex, and Scott also used four separate injections to create the lower shell, making a boot that's laterally stiff so you can power through turns without tipping over or twisting on top of your ski.
Although it's designed for hard chargers, the Voodoo is as capable of racing up a line as it is maching down one, with a ski/walk switch that provides 46 degrees of cuff rotation (more than Scott's burliest alpine touring boot, if you want to brag to your friends).

Garbage.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
There are basically two NTN tele boots available. I bought both the Scott Voodoo and the Scarpa TX Comp. Neither fit me correctly. Bought both to have my boot fitter check. From the recommendation of my boot fitter (40 years of experience, they're no slouch) I kept the Scotts. Even after EXTENSIVE boot work, I get too much toe pinch. But because of where the bellows is, they can't punch the boot any more without destroying the bellows and compromising the boot. We kept this boot because it had enough room in the heel and the arch. The SCarpa fit better in the forefoot. But because of how the boots are designed, the Scarpas couldn't be made to fit. If you have wide feet and tall arches, unfortunately, there isn't an NTN tele boot available for you. Hot. Garbage. I am going back to my 75mm tele setup.
