Update
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Hi Ryan: Yes Ryan Valve was seated properly, the pad wasn't on any rough terrain, etc to warrant any issues. It was a mfg. and quality control issue.. And in response to "AgingDirtBag": You are "flat" wrong about "ALL PADS puncture over time". I have been using backpacking gear for over 30 years, and in fact STILL have my first thermarest that I now use for car camping, after many years in the field... It has traveled everywhere, and I never have had to patch it. So that statement is false. Lastly regarding SeatoSummit customer service. Guessing you've never tried contacting them. Their customer service line dumps in a VM which I'm assuming has a zillion messages on it because I never got a call back. I did finally get an email back 6 weeks later, and after some back and forth I just got a replacement (August 2021). Almost 3 months since first contacting them. However I would never use their pads again after what I experienced. It's going straight on Ebay, and since you like collecting pads maybe you want a backup?
