It's actually warm

yes, its bulky and doesn't compete with the loftiness of down but it actually keeps me warm. too warm in fact. I used it recently as an extra layer with my 35 degree bag when temps down to 37 and I got hot. I would absolutely use this alone in the summer months. it can compress down more with a compression sack but its kind of a pain to do that. great for car camping!

This is light, warm and comfortable. I use this instead of a sleeping bag. I also use it at home as my house can get cold.

Good blanket, poor quality control

I bought this blanket back in July and finally used it on a trip this month. It's a nice size for one person and works well. It kept me warm sitting out at night in the desert. I do have concerns about the quality. When I pulled it out of the sack, there were tons of loose threads, some spanning multiple panels. There was also some of the fill or something hanging out one of the ends. The weirdest part is a prickly/ sharp ball in one of the corners. It feels like a mass of burnt plastic with feather quills. That part is very odd. I have no idea what might be in there. Overall, the blanket works well, but seems to be poorly constructed with little to no quality control.

Must have camping blanket!

This truly is a must have for your camping kit. This blanket is extremely warm yet light weight and easy to pack away. I bought the queen size which is perfect for my partner and I to share. The only complaint is that the material is rather slick and does slip around throughout the night but I'd still give it 5-stars and will be looking into getting the twin/single size to use around camp.

Fell apart immediately
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I used this blanket once to cover my legs in the rain. I pulled it out of the bag the next day and most of the threads had come unraveled and all of the quilting fell apart. This is a piece of trash. It was nice and warm though, but it can't hold up. It'll crumble if you look at it.

I got this as a gift and it really is the perfect blanket. I have used at summer concerts, camping, on road trips, and it is my go to. It's lightweight and easy to pack. I ended up buying the single for myself so I could have 2 options!

This quilt kept my husband and I warm during a week long car camp trip to NW Georgia in May. I was really impressed with how big and warm it was! Great purchase, great price, well made! Love it!

I absolutely love my bivy quilt! It keeps you warm but not too hot. It’s nice and plush so it packs easy and provides a good amount of air flow instead of just sticking to your skin. I could not recommend this quilt enough!

I bought this blanket to replace my 0F double sleeping bag that was a bit much for the PNW and really big. This blanket is about 1/4 of the size and packs up in less than a minute. I sleep in the back of my truck with a shell and insulated window covers. I tested it out in my driveway last night so I would have a back up if it was too cold. The temp last night got down to 28F and inside the truck bed it was 38F. I used the blanket with a double sleeping bag liner, and my typical sleeping attire which includes a sweatshirt, wool socks, and sweatpants. While I was not as warm and tingly as I am in the 0F bag, this blanket kept me and my pup warm and toasty all night. This is now my new go-to blanket for truck camping. I will be using this when camping in anything above 25F.

This is my go to camping blanket, I always have it with me in my car. It is super durable, easy to clean and warm. I just used it down in Bryce Canyon where the temps were below 20 degrees and the wind was biting, but wrapped up in this blanket I was able to enjoy the sunrise.

I'm trying to buy a compression sack for this blanket. What size in liters do you recommend?

Can I throw the blanket in the washing machine? I know I will need to air dry, just wondering how it comes out after the washer. Thanks!

"Since one side is treated with DWR, you can lay it on the ground for warm weather celebrations under open skies." Which side of the blanket is treated with DWR? The dark side or the lighter side?

Has anyone used this as a replacement for a sleeping bag? Curious how it would hold up down to 20 or 30 degrees, and compared to something like Therm-a-rest's down blankets that have a 20 degree rating
