Slides around and not comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I’ve used this pad a few times now and I dread going to sleep on it. It slides around terribly on my thermarest ridge rest. It also did not hold up well as part of my cold system for early spring ~30°F. If it’s not 100% perfectly flat the sleeping pad completely slides all over or my body completely slides off the pad because there is no texture on it to keep it in place. It does stay inflated but it is not thick enough to begin with to give support so either way you are sleeping on the ground. Also it does not pack down small enough to attach to my pack so I have to tie it in with string.
