T-Bone Knee Guard

You and your enduro sled have a date bombing down some tacky singletrack this afternoon, but the last thing you want to do is layer up with a bunch of bulky, stiff padding before you head out. Troy Lee Designs' T-Bone Knee Guards will protect the skin on your knees without getting in the way as you pedal, and they're beefy enough to handle their fair share of encounters with the ground. A nylon-covered EVA outer knee shell shields your kneecap from hard hits, while silicone grippers and two stretchy hook-and-loop straps keep the pads in-place and allow you to dial in a custom fit that works for you.

This is my second pair of T Bones and I swear by them. My last pair has been going strong (because I fall a LOT) for two years now... The only thing to be advised about is washing. Close the straps all the way to fully cover the Velcro on both pads before you throw into the wash! My last pads had to have the Velcro replaced because it wouldn’t stick anymore and I’ve gotten much smarter now. After some time, they will smell even if you wash them...it’s the name of the game. Bath water and baking soda did the trick. Will never wear different pads!!

Knee pads you don’t think about

These offer good protection in a lightweight easy to pedal package. The straps don’t bind and they don’t shimmy down or bunch up. Like them so much I even use them for skateboarding.
